I’ve always wanted to have a .me domain for quite awhile now but I had to skimp so much for my very limited budget. After about more than a year of having my blog hosted by my portfolio as a subdomain, maybe, I think, now is the time to become “independent” again. I still got about $2 left on my Namecheap credit, so this is a good time to really take advantage of the limited offer.
Of course, the problem now lies with the actual naming of the domain. In fact, I’m beginning to wonder also if the name ADRIATASTIC! will also remain for my blog or just simply name it using my own name. I even thought about renaming/changing the blog name from “Adriatastic” to my current Twitter (and social media) username, Adriculous. Gah, decisions, decisions!
The following domain names that I checked through Namecheap are available:
The offer also stated that I could purchase 10 .me domains max with this offer, but what am I gonna do with all 10 of those domains? Sounds kind of greedy and far-fetched. I have to admit that I used to be like that in the early web designing days, but that was when I had a good-paying job and had lots of money to spare. What a mistake.
Hopefully sometime before the end of July (or maybe before the start of the fall season), I’ll finally get one .me domain. Hopefully.
On the sidenote...
- Highly recommended if you’re looking for a domain registry service for your site. Awesome prices, awesome service! I wouldn’t be a customer for the last 10+ years or so. [↩]
