I created a brand-new blog category that is strictly for the new revival of this blog. I simply call it So dang ADRICULOUS!
This particular category will be just a “showcase” category in which I share a few original works1 and just simply talk about them briefly. This would include newly-premiered web projects, probably some digital artwork, and the like. I would probably talk about the web projects in full in my portfolio, but because my portfolio is under construction, I might as well give this one an exception.
So, ADRIMARS.me is my newest project. It’s basically just a blog about my writing and anything else related to writing. I used to blog about them in here, but because I want to simply just focus ADRICULOUS in to just strictly random blogging, I went my way in to purchasing this domain and house a few of my original literary work2 over there, as well as giving more insight in to my writing and everything else related.
I recently purchased a developer license from Elegant Themes so that I can take advantage of the child themes method in to building my WordPress-powered sites. The parent theme in which I based the ADRIMARS.me child theme on, Fable, reminds me of the default Twenty-Thirteen theme, except it’s a lot cooler and a whole lot more customizable. I love how the featured images can now serve as background images of blog excerpts, just as what you see at the above screencap. Of course, there’s only two blog entries so far, which is why there’s only two. I think it’s a pretty neat “strictly blogging” theme that I thought it would definitely suit my writing-specific web project.
And that’s about it for my brief overview of this new project. Hopefully you all can visit and learn more of the “(fan)fiction writer” side of me.
