I have been neglecting this poor personal blog. I’ve been busy being a “ninpojineous” because I am inspired. A lot.
I have been busy focusing on my classes a lot, and if I don’t reiterate everything I’ve learned somewhere, I’m going to forget and panic. That’s why, I opened The NINPOJineous, a “creatives” blog about my art, DIY stuff, my web development education journey, and so far the heart of this site has been my procrastinators tutorials series.
Last month, I joined Amassment, a community of fan site builders, be it shrines, fanlistings, or massive fansites of one particular subject altogether. I haven’t had a shrine/fansite for many years now and thanks to them, I found my inspiration to build one. However, I want to do something different with the way I would build this shrine. It’s not because I want to show off or anything, but because I’ve taken many classes that introduced me to so many tools and techniques that may become common practice among the professional web development world in the near future, it would truly help for me to use everything I’ve learned to good use by applying it to this shrine. I feel that with this, not only that it would help me (personally) understand the concepts and everything else I’ve learned from class, but to also introduce and inspire these new tools and techniques to those who may be interested.
Long ago, I vowed myself not to write any tutorials because I thought that I wouldn’t have anything to contribute to the hobbyist web design world. Many hobbyists (and professionals who are hobbyists too) write tutorials about the most common stuff, such as HTML/CSS, basic Javascript, basic PHP, and the likes. Me, on the other hand, decided that I would introduce the not-so-common stuff that I also feel would be useful for hobbyists too. Some are complicated, but that’s what tutorials are for: make the complicated simpler.
Hope you have the time to stop by and visit, and if you can, please leave me some comments. Suggestions, comments, and feedback always welcome!

I recently just got back into blogging after being out of the blogging world for a year or so just due to being so sidetracked with school, work, and life in general. But over that time, I have learned so many new things as well. It’s great you are taking all your ideas and putting them into a collection for others to use. I know as I had gotten back into the blogging world, I still relied on “senior” web designers knowledge to get everything set up properly. Despite them being pretty basic things, there is nothing wrong with refreshers or even outlining those more unique situations. I know anything you would share would be helpful for someone! I can’t wait to see what knowledge you share with the rest of us!

Hi there, and thanks for stopping by! Refreshers are always good. I’m more of the type who likes to introduce the new things to those who aren’t too familiar, especially with the most basics of the basics LOL. I recently finished my Markdown tutorial and I just started on Emmet and a “journal” on building my upcoming Sakura x Syaoran shrine using Hugo (static site generator) and Materialize (CSS framework). I’ve got the content ready, but not the wireframe because I’m still looking for the right images to use, you know?
Welcome back to the blogging world though. I’ll definitely stop by. ^_^
