    Wow. I never knew Tahoe means lake and have always called it as Lake Tahoe.

    No worries, not everyone knows where the name came from. Not even the rest of the U.S. except for California and Nevada. To the rest of the U.S. and the world, it’ll always be known as Lake Tahoe. But for us Californians and Nevadans, it’s just “Tahoe.”

      Thanks, Megan. I think Tahoe would be like the closest thing to visiting the European Alps. I actually have more photos than the ones I posted, saving them for other special things lol. 😊
