Despite that I’ve been heavily involved with two fandoms at the same time, I just want to remind people that I still have a life. Luckily these two fandoms are mostly active at night and very early morning in my time zone. The rest of the day I head back to real life, doing real-life stuff.
As an unemployed person still looking for a job (even at an entry level admin assistant even since I’m pretty proficient with general office software and all other general paperwork, I’m still surviving with my unemployment insurance from the State (even if it’s very little amount) and doing whatever I can to catch up with my bills. I still do household chores (obviously), do the cooking (mostly lunch now, sometimes dinner, depending on who among us in the family is in the mood), and of course, go out. It’s just that lately I haven’t been going out since I’m conserving whatever money I got left, except for occasional shopping or doing some volunteer work or attending some community-based events and most especially church choir rehearsals and every Sunday mass.
But what I haven’t done as of late because of these two fandoms are the following:
- Blogging/working on websites (like this blog and the upcoming portfolio that I should be working on because I’ve got a lot of new work to showcase).
- Reading (OMG I miss reading so much… lately I’ve caught up with my usual reading habits though, plus I got to read the new books that I bought earlier this year but never had a chance to read them).
- Writing (after meeting famed PHR writer Miss Heart Yngrid on Twitter last month really made me miss writing fiction and fanfiction (though they’re usually epic fails LOL))
- Playing videogames (OMG, I got so many new DS games and PC games that I received from Christmas last year and purchased early this year on gift cards and I still haven’t played them. I also miss playing online/MMORPG games like Ragnarok Online, ROSE Online, Mabinogi, etc. too.
And there you go. I do have a life!
