    Congratulations! I decided to opt out of this, to be honest. I started, and that’s a good enough start for me! Haha, it’s probably not something others would be happy with, but the fact that I started on something I’ve wanted to do for a while means more to me than rushing to get 50,000 words.

    Good luck. :)

      Aww, that’s too bad. At least you started with something major and challenging such as writing a 50,000-word novel (or a writing piece?) for the entire month. NaNoWrimo has set a specific word count goal per day that should help you get to 50,000 words with the deadline of 11/30 (around 1,300 words per day I think) and I often try to beat that count goal by going over it to give me a bit of a boost

      Still though, it helps getting away from all the everyday stresses just by writing something. I know some people who actually cheat with this by copying/pasting random blog entries they wrote from their own blogs and then make that as a novel at the last minute. Dishonorable LOL.

      Thanks for stopping by! :D

    How to do you find the time to write a novel?! I’m barely have time to do NaBloPoMo XD

    Good luck with the writing :) What’s your book about?

      The funny thing is that I’ve never heard of NaBloPoMo until recently LOL.

      I usually write at nighttime while daily life is always in the daytime LOL. NaNoWriMo has a set word count deadline per day that can guarantee you’ll reach 50,000 by the end of the month. I try to beat those “default” word count deadlines whenever I can so I can guarantee myself getting the work finished before the end of the month :)

      I wrote a bit about Stardust House here (actually it’s just an FB fanpage plug LOL), but the NaNoWrIMo novel that I’m writing about is related to the plot of Stardust House. Maybe you could call it a side story.

    50,000 words is seriously difficult but I know you can do it. I hope I can read that novel when it’s finished. ^_^

    Best of luck Adri!

      LOL most people just write whatever, not necessarily a complete novel. The main goal is just to have 50K (plus NaNoWrImo system doesn’t read what you wrote anyway— they only count the words you wrote). ^^;

    Ooops sorry for the late comment.

    Wow you actually beat the 50K words and written 72K words. Congrats!

      Thanks Yume :D

      Actually it’s just an “extended” version of ch. 4 (may split it to ch. 4 and ch. 5 depending on how it’ll be edited lol— it’s actually not finished but since it reached past 50K, that’s all that matters LOL). Will work on that very soon.

      Also, thanks to my previous MMORPG game experience I have another idea for a brand-new story. I posted about Lucent Heart on my FB (alnog w/ the video) awhile ago if you wanna take a look at it LOL.
