October is here.
And so does the chilly breeze.
The true autumn month.
Afternoons go dark.
The fog rises, day and night.
All Hallows’ Eve, soon.
My countdown to life.
A decade will end and start.
Glorious birthday.
To the great blue sky.
As you look down these forest fires,
please, cry, shed your tears.
After looking through my Haiku and Pseudo-haiku section under Fun Stuff, I was rather surprised that I haven’t written a single haiku/pseudo-haiku since December of last year. I must have run out of literary creative juices this year. On the other hand, I have been focusing more on coding and education (as well as work) than with writing stories as of late. Still, writing short poetry such as haiku is still fun and refreshing for me.
For those who are new to my blog, I’ve had my haiku section since 2011. This was the first one I’ve written for this blog. Please feel free to check out the rest. ????

These are amazing. I will read the other ones later for sure.
it’s so nice that you get invited to dance lessons. I would love to do that. Unfortunately the dance lessons around here aren’t that cheap, so until I will be sure I can make the time to go, I prefer not to pay the money. Also, I am a very bad dancer. Like really bad. We do not get along at all.
I love beautiful handwriting. I consider everybody has a nice and clean handwriting, mine is awful. I can’t make the letters the same size and it looks messy. Everybody compliments my handwriting and my signature but I hate them. I look at them and I think that they were made by a child. I tried to practice more and more handwriting,, but I still don’t get it right. At some point I gave up. Maybe you have some tips for me. They would be really useful.

Aww thanks hehe. Very simple haiku, but in a way, meaningful. ^_^
I also have the same problem as you. I get invited to do (hip-hop) dance lessons, but I just don’t have the time, money, and most of all, energy. My work includes a lot of physical labor, so that what gets me tired. Still though, it’s fun to watch their videos uploaded on my Facebook wall with their smooth moves thinking that I could be that smooth, even though I’m not a good dancer myself. ^^
For me, my handwriting also depends on my mood too. If I’m not in a very good mood, my handwriting tends to be messy. If I’m inspired, I find my handwriting becoming a lot beautiful and smooth to write on. I guess for handwriting, it’s easier to achieve “beautiful handwriting” by not thinking about how beautiful it should be, but instead, you let your hand do the “talking” to the paper. I don’t know if that makes sense, but I find it helpful for me. ^^

These are awesome ^^ The different fonts are a nice touch :D

Yup. ^_^ I used “Use Any Font” plugin to upload custom fonts (not currently existing in Google Fonts) to customize my WordPress themes, and of course, I can use the custom fonts anytime, anywhere, and it didn’t have to be the title or the headers. :)
