It’s been weeks since I wrote my last entry, I know, but I guess it’s safe to say that I went on a break from my web development online learning/training. Why? Because it’s November.
While October is my personal month,1 I consider November as my month of zen therapy through art. I went back to doing zentangle art (or zen doodle art even) just to unleash my natural artistic urge, as well as, after two years of skipping it, participating in NaNoWriMo. I actually tried out Scapple and then came out with plenty of ideas on crafting a rough draft of this year’s 30-day novel. Still though, I still have yet to participate in my local write-in so I can meet fellow Wrimo writers and just write out all our novels and target our required word count.
I planned on going all out with my DIY crafting as well this Christmas. I’d like to do some DIY greeting cards and gift wrapping, but sadly I don’t have enough budget for me to purchase the necessary goods, such as the right card stock paper and all of that. I’m already equipped with my arsenal, such as colored pencils, markers, gel pens, cutter, etc. It’s the decorative paper that I need to get this thing going.
In addition, I also purchased a few of those really awesome adult coloring books. The only thing here is that I purchased these coloring books as references, rather than just me doing the actual coloring. I hope that one day that I can draw and publish my own series of adult coloring books through all the zen therapy artwork that I’ve drawn and make some side money off of it. Still, I do plan on doing some coloring on those books in the near future though.
I’m finally going to get my writing blog active again soon regarding my NaNo novel. Wait for it.

I’m doiing NaNoWriMo too! I gotta catch up on my word count though. I usually try every year. Good luck with yours!
I love adult coloring books. They’re so relaxing.

I actually like drawing them though, and the fact that there’s no such thing as “the right look” when it comes to art therapy drawings, I feel like I’m a master artist. Even something with just black ink can be as relaxing.

Good luck with NaNoWriMo!
