Last time, when I heard that there was an open beta back in February and hosted by a different game host (Suba Games), I tried downloading it and go back to playing it. This was before my addiction to Aura Kingdom began. Sadly at first installation, I couldn’t see any graphics or any visuals on the login screen, which mean that there must be a glitch to it and decided not to play the game again until the final version is finally released.
Then fast-forward to August and here I am again, re-downloading Lucent Heart, and finally, for some strange reason (maybe because of the latest updates), the game finally works. Instead of reviving my old character from the old Beanfun1 days, I decided to “recycle” my Aura Kingdom character as a gunner,2 which ironically is the class of my former soulmate.3 During my first day of playing, I was able to find a new soulmate, one of the wizard class.
A lot of the aspects of LH throughout these past three days of playing it are getting back to me now. The only ones I don’t remember seeing from the old Beanfun version is that all players now have the ability to have their own house and even customize it with furniture and other house accessories. If you and your soulmate end up getting married, you even get to live in the same house as well. The house system is a brand-new feature in the Suba Games version and that you have to be at level 25 to be eligible to have your own house. As of this date, my gunner character is now at level 34 and still haven’t done a quest involving owning my own house. Darn.
Today, the latest version patch, only known as version 8, has been released. It’s supposed to have a new phantom warlock class4 and that the whole level 75 level cap should be fixed and would be able to move on from there. Unfortunately, there have been a lot of issues and bugs caused by this update that right now, I can’t even log in to the game.
I’m using an image of one of the two advanced gunner classes, the Nova Sentinel. My old character, a knight, was able to reach the Celestial Templar class, but never got to reach 40 because of Beanfun’s decision to close the game. By the time my gunner character reaches level 36, I’m aiming for the Nova Sentinel gunner class. It’s very much like the Celestial Templar class where its support functions include boosting up stats temporarily on your team members, which I think is really neat.
And now, I am on wait mode and see if I’m able to get back to the game again with my new guild friends and even my new wizard soulmate. I feel all lonely now.
