I actually have something else in mind to write about, but because today’s weather was just simply perfect, I couldn’t help but being sprung about it. Today was also the first time I wore short-sleeved silk blouse and I finally got to wore the cool Levi’s 531 dark indigo-colored denim capri jeans for the first time since I purchased it from one of the sample sales last year. Since I am wearing a sample piece of clothing, no one can ever find this particular item anywhere else, not even at the Levi’s outlet stores. Therefore, I feel blessed for wearing something rare from a well-known apparel label and the fact that it’s mine and mine alone.
I actually meant to bring my camera to work in order to take pictures of the plaza complete with the bright sun and its warmth that’s providing, as well as the line of white cherry blossom (sakura) trees all about the plaza. The waters of the fountains at the center looked so crisp and clear as if they were flowing from an untouched river. There were people everywhere, mostly employees, and there were visitors too from families to young couples showing their love for one another underneath the oak trees all about the plaza’s park area.
And yes, it’s also a perfect place to brainstorm and to jot down some ideas for an upcoming fiction project. I know I’m known for not finishing the fiction project because I get distracted with brand-new ideas so easily, but whenever the spring season comes, I always start thinking of the beaches. All the surf, the sand, the sun, all the surfing and swinging by surfers and beach goers here and there and all about fill up an ideal scene. I vowed to myself that I would have a walk about the SF Bay shore since it’s just walking distance from my workplace to the piers/Fisherman’s Wharf.
I would have to pinch myself later tonight to bring my camera to work tomorrow. There’s tons of scenic images and lush landscapes that needed to be captured in vision. My creative juices are seriously flowing, most especially with this idea for the fic. I’m seriously feeling it right here and right now. I’m tempted to bring out my notebook and start writing. All the important work that I needed to do for the day are already complete. My boss is still somewhere in India and my co-worker is telecommuting at home. For all I know this co-worker is probably feeling sprung with the weather that she decided to do her work telecommuting at the beach, sun and everything. That’s not fair, man. :(
One of the directors in our department is definitely sprung today. He’s got a reall unique love story, but sadly I don’t know the entire story. He recently got married to a very exotically beautiful lady in a faraway land known as Bhutan. One day they met in Hong Kong, eventually fell in love, and recently got married. Few months ago it was announced that her lovely Bhutanese wife is pregnant with their first child. Because of this, the director have filed papers of petition to bring his wife here in the U.S. Today, he finally got a call from the embassy stating that the petition had been approved.
Tomorrow morning, the director will be leaving for Hong Kong, and then travel to Bhutan to meet up with his sweetheart. He’ll be telecommuting over there as he would assist his wife in packing things up and all that. Once they arrive here, they can finally start a new life together as a real married couple (and of course, the upcoming baby). The director would definitely introduce the lovely wife to us, so can’t wait for that moment to come. :D
Finishing up a couple of skills tests for my job hunting and for employee agencies, I’m leaving this entry off right here. ^_^
