As you can see, I’m still on Maintenance Mode. In addition, I’m testing to use a more custom “non-Google font”-type of fonts. Currently I am using AR Essence. However, this is not the default font for the text, sadly.
In all honesty, I simply just got fed up with Divi. Its new features added just simply overwhelm me that I truly don’t know what I’m doing anymore. I wanted to attempt to create a blog-only child theme using Divi, but because of its “demanding” features, I was beginning to have a major headache. The parent theme I’m currently using is created by the folks at Automattic themselves and even though it looks very plain at the moment, I think having minimal designs on blogs truly brings out its true purpose. I love graphics-heavy themes, but because of my serious designer’s block, I thought it was time to come out with something plain.
I thought about opening another blog site that chronicles my educational journey, but then I thought I would probably delete all the blog entries that I’ve written in my portfolio and simply start at a clean slate. Either that or I incorporate my educational journey with my upcoming “non-web development” blog at adrimarie.ninja, whichever works. But I’ll work on those some other time.
