Happy new year, everyone! Let’s all make 2017 a much better year than the previous.
I have to admit that I faded quite a bit from the blogging/web dev scene mainly because of my unending addiction to Final Fantasy XV and its adoring cast of characters. Square Enix promised that this would be a type of FF game that is based on reality, and I have to admit that, although I have mixed feelings with the main story’s ending,1 I really did find myself relatable to the characters, regardless of the type of language you use for the game.2 I found myself being chill and best buds with the heir apparent to the Lucian throne and his three buddies who were simply just what most people in the real world are: very, very chill and down to earth. Anyway, enough talk about the gaming.
I wrote this particular entry because I will be working on a new (child) theme for the year 2017. I love the grid look for the blog, but now I feel that it’s time for a change. I’ve got two lifetime memberships to two of the world’s best WordPress theme clubs, and their default themes are becoming a lot more open to personal customization than ever. I’ll talk more about the parent theme I’ll be using for this blog in a much later future, once I finally get everything done.
Therefore, expect bugs, expect quirks, and expect imperfections in the next coming weeks… or months… This will be a complete overhaul and I apologize to everyone whom I haven’t replied to their emails yet for their linkups and everything else. Give me some time to sort things out with this blog (as well as my other sites as well) for the time being. I’ll hit you guys up when the time comes.
And that’s it! Consider this as an under construction entry. I don’t plan on writing in this blog anytime soon until I get everything up and running for the year 2017. Thanks for all your understanding, everyone!
- and I do hope they would release more DLCs that will fill plot holes or continue the main story and give us a much better ending… [↩]
- FFXV was released on only one day, November 29th, throughout the entire world and not just in Japan, therefore all the localized languages and translated text were already good to go for every single region around the world. The first DLC was also released on one date (December 22nd) throughout the world also, so this is a very global game, so to speak. [↩]
