I was checking out the latest deals at the Mighty Deals site when I stumbled upon one of their blog entries. I was quite amazed at the differences between West Coast designers (we’re talking about graphic designers, web designers/developers, you know, the creators of the web LOL ) and East Coast designers. Okay, I obviously grew up here in good ol’ gateway to Silicon Valley and I always thought of the techno-minded and the electro-artistic types living the more laid back, frugal life. After all, our craft and our skills are the only ones that matter rather than living the high-life like most high-paying professionals do. We also care about our clients and our customers’ needs and we live in the same lifestyle as we do. We just gel like that, you know?
Except cats though. I love cats. Well, I love dogs too since my family and I had plenty of dogs back when we were still living in the Philippines. Today, it’s just all about cats. Oh Tiger, Mocha, and Blacksheep!
So, which one of the two do you lean more? There are a few things compared in the chart posted below that I disagree with. Actually in terms of musical tastes, I’m more oldies (’60s-’80s), old-school R&B and Hip Hop, J-Pop, with a bit of atlernative, reggae, and punk. Not so much electrica though. As for attire I wear jeans, t-shirt, the tone-downed casual stuff. I do get really fussy with my hair though.
