Probably sometime last week, some of you may have stumbled upon my blog, only to learn that the server has gone down. What caused the almost 5-6 days of downtime isn’t from my part, nor that it’s a heavy technical issue. The issue is a lot deeper and personal from the management side of things. Luckily, things have been resolved and now I am back…
That is, back along with a domain and a different extension: ADRICULOUS.life. So, this is what happens when you are feeling a major withdrawal syndrome from you personal niche-less blog that you start to think about the future of this blog. You also start thinking about making a few changes here and there, but still continue on with the same purpose. I have gone through my very old archives that I backed up from two weeks ago, and noticed that this blog is just truly random, covering different types of subjects, topics, and other types of randomness derived from my everyday life. Yes, my love for Final Fantasy XV and other video games mentioned in this blog through the course of some nine years1 are a part of my life. The food that I loved to talk about, the (East) Asian skincare routine also became part of my life,2 the meetups that I’ve been attending, and so on and so forth.
During these 4-5 days of downtime, I actually thought about moving a new host. I was truly desperate, especially that I have my forum and my friend’s author site and blog at risk of getting lost, as well as my portfolio also. For my portfolio, I used my GitHub Pages account as a temporary home with temporary/outdated information about myself. And then, of course, there are the others.
The entire plan was all written out on the LVI! timeline section earlier today, so please read that if you’re curious about my plans for the future. For the time being, please follow me on Twitter for all the site updates with my collective. Unlike most collective owners, I don’t have a separate Twitter account just for LVI! or even this blog or anything else.
I still gotta set up more with the new host3 and move a few sites to here. Other than that, good to go.
Last, but not necessarily the least, I have recently gotten addicted to the Buddha Board. Recently it’s been helping me out with my brush art skills, but at the same time, it’s helped me down with my stress issues when the server was down for days. Lastly, I finally was able to visit the Hello Kitty Cafe when it made its appearance in the Santana Row high-scale shopping area of San Jose. Those stories with accompanying images are all available in my good ol’ Instagram.
Awrighty. Bedtime. Till next time!

I hope so too! But, looking forward to what’s to come, site-wise. :D

I’m happy that you got your sites back up and running and are stable. I’m sorry what had happened to you with your former hosting company, which was not right or cool of them to do that. Anyways, just glad you’re happy and that your sites are up again. Welcome.

I’m not too worried right now though. There are a lot of things to clean up anyway, plus sometimes, it really does feel good to have a fresh start.
Except for this blog. I’ve got some 10-ish years of written words here. Can’t lose all of that. :D

I missed your sites! ;__; Glad to see your blog back!
And now I want a Buddha Board… XD
April 2, 2017 @ 2:42 am
Me too! T_T I was suffering withdrawal symptoms those past few days because of it. I couldn’t even find motivation to study Python and other coding classes online during those days too. :(
I want to collect all the mini Buddha Board colors, simply because I want to “temporarily” paint my pictures with different colored “inks.” It comes with its own paintbrush and a water trough underneath, but I’m just using my portable water brush (the same one I’ve been using for my watercolor paintings awhile ago). Much cleaner and less messier that way. :D

My previous host was actually down quite a bit so I just went through the move about a few months ago. It’s so time consuming. LOL. It’s good to see that you’ve returned! Everything is looking great.

Thanks for stopping by and yes, definitely time consuming. I haven’t even migrated all my sites yet (though I do plan on leaving a few of my sites with my former host in hopes they would remain up). But anyway LOL.
I did plan on opening a (WordPress) site migration tutorial on my other blog awhile ago, but never really got to it. I still have to migrate that particular blog first before I open one LOL.

Yay, welcome back! I was actually one of those people who visited your blog and saw that it was down. Hope everything goes well now! :)

I thought I did a back up to week ago, it turned out it was closer to four weeks ago! Lost some entries, but that’s okay. Now, I’m getting myself to back-up more often from both the CPanel and WordPress.
I also changed my subdomain name. I thought ninja was kinda cheesy! haha. I thought I wouldn’t be able to get the subdomain to work, but it looks like I just had to wait for the DNS to propagate. LOL

LOL, I’ll be sure to update your link. Yesterday was pretty stressful and I’m sorry you had to go through that. Luckily your blog was untouched LOL.
I’ll have to bug you with the multisite bit soon. :D
